Had a fun evening out with friends over at Playzone at Cosham. Felt very young at heart doing the various slides, rope bridges, spinny things, nets, fireman’s poles, ladders, tunnels, bouldering wall, balance beam. Did manage manage to pick up a rather nasty friction burn on my last slide down. Reminds me of hurtning my knee skiing on the very last run down of the last day.
 Bit diappointed that Krispy Kreme’s closed at 9:30 pm so we missed out on them. However came back and had a game of Hazienda which my friend Andy had brought down with him.
Another year and another mad weekend in MK. This years’ activities were Indoor Skydiving, Go-Karting and Ariel Xtreme.
Managed a bit better with the indoor skydiving this year, actuall managed to hover rather than career from side to side. The instructor even thought I could control my movements.
Go-Karting. Helen Morton beat her brother. However I need more practice.
Snowboarding was the same as last year but felt that I didn’t make as much progress as I did last year though we were a smaller group. Perhaps I need to just get out on the real slope.Â
Aeriel Xtreme is similar to Go-Ape but on posts not in the trees. It’s set up with a lower level and above it a more challenging higher level. Some of it was very unnerving with jumps and climbing along parrallel ropes. However I had the satisfaction of doing it all including the brief but exciting vertical descent.
Spent today kyaking on the Norweigan Fjords. Clean blue water, clear sky, very little in the way of breeze. Great weather. Also took the opportunity to have take a swim in the sea. Don’t know if I’ll have another chance out here so best to make the best of the opportunity.
Tried Ceroc for the first time tonight. Very different from Salsa, don’t need to worry about the feet being in the right place every beat. Quite chilled and less complex than I thought. I’ll be goig back for more but will also keep up with the Salsa.
