Well a fire at work meant that I spent most of the day stuck in a room with no windows and not being able to ask my supervisor if I could take the time off.

Some things you just don’t expect
One of the strangest sights I’ve seen this year. Wandering through Soho Square on my way up to Euston Station I came across a stand for Oxygen, a product of some sort from Nivea. As I approached I could hear the distinct sound of drums and tamberines. What a strange sound I thought to myself coming from something so contrived. I could see one of the men manning it leaning over a counter staring out into space. At this point I spotted the Hari-Krishna’s and realise the stand had been overrun.  No wonder those manning the stand were trying to make themselve invisible.
A marketeer’s worst nightmare. Again typically at these occasions the batteries in my camera were flat as it would have made a brillant photo opportunity. I doubt I’ll ever see the same thing again.
Futher Confirmation It’s a Small World
My friend Shell has a new friend Liam. One of his housemate’s, Anthony, is someone I already know. Scary stuff.
“Random Encounters” in a Small World
Had a very strange evening last night going out for my friends Shell’s birthday. I ended up bumping into three groups of people that I hadn’t seen since the same day last year.
All of this took place in Southamptons retro 80’s nightclub, Reflex. First off was my friend Shell’s ex-boyfriend Steve who we spotted wandering round the club who I had last seen at the Beggar’s Fair up in Romsey last July. Next I spotted Barry and Alan from the Romsey Sub-Aqua Club who again I had last seen at the Beggar’s Fair last year. Then wandering around my friend Kirsty says hello to me. Again I had seen her last on the same day last year this time at her house warming party which is a slight change.
I’m increasingly feeling that I’m living in a small world where there aren’t enough original extras to go round. My loger Amanda works with Shell’s mum so there’s no escape there. Carl who I work with goes to Glasgow for a weekend and bumps into Chris McCormick who I used to work with at Esso.
